Lanarkshire Gents Areas Team 2023

The 2023 Scottish Gents Area team provided our Gents Area team with some challenging games but after securing early victories over Glasgow and Perthshire, as a consequence of other results the last game against Angus was immaterial as the team had already secured their place in the national finals at Paisley GC in September.

Under the management of Past President Willie Sharpe, the team acquitted themselves well in the morning foursomes against a strong Lothians team who managed to secure the overall match victory with a strong showing in the afternoon singles.  

A fine effort from the Steel men who are already planning their campaign in 2024.
